Analytics overview
In July I made enormous progress on my Pinterest Account and as I mentioned in my previous Analytics post I think I found a pattern on how to increase my statistics. Checking statistics on your social media platforms is very important because it helps you to manage your next moves and create tactics. I am constantly building a bigger audience, so my stats are not so big. At this moment I have 821 followers on Pinterest. However, I am very satisfied with what I have generated. In this post, you will see what I think you should look at in your stats at Pinterest by showing you my analytics insight.
Impressions, Total Audience, Engagements, Engaged Audience
I am gonna start with the main page of the Analytics overview. In this picture below you can see for example Impressions. Impressions mean how many times your pins were seen. In July I generated 1.48m of them. You may see these 313 percent that increased. In June I had 357.38k Impressions. This change just blew my mind. The next thing that also increased was the Total Audience with 893.33k. This is the number of people who have seen or engaged with your pins. In the previous month, I had a 250.14k total audience. In July I also had 28.66k Engagements (June – 7.09k) which as you compare it with impressions it is quite small. However I am not complaining about it, I am very happy with this number. Engagements show the number of link clicks, save, close up, and carousel swipes from your pins, so this is one of the best indicators to look at. The last thing on this picture is the Engaged Audience which means the number of people that engaged with your Pins. So in July 22.47k people engaged with my pins (June – 5.86k).


Link Clicks
Link clicks are the number that I am paying the most attention to. The more I have the more I see people click on my content. It is very hard to engage people to click on your sites. However, I am very happy that I generated 755 link clicks during this month. Previously If you read my June analytic post, I had 152 link clicks.

Saves
As I mentioned in my previous post the more people save my pins the more I could generate other engagements. This month my pins were saved 1.224 times. This number is also amazing, where we compare it with the previous month when I had 221.

Top Pins
When you want to see statistics which pins were the best you can choose plenty of options here. I am choosing 2 areas when I am analyzing my pins, it is Pin saves and Pin Link clicks. As you may see the most engagement I had from the pins that I created about animals. It generated in both areas the most saves and link clicks.


Audience Insight
Age and Gender
The next thing that I think is interesting to look at is age and gender. It shows what age and what gender watch your content. If we compare it with the previous month we didn’t see a big difference. It is still people age between 18-24 and female.

Audience Location
The last thing in my Pinterest analytics is Audience Location. It shows where your audience came from or from where there watching your pins. The number one country is still the United States with 23%, comparing it with the previous month it increased by about 5% (17,7%-June). The other countries didn’t change significantly. As I mentioned before in my previous posts, I am really happy that a lot of people from the US watching my content and I hope that it didn’t change and they will still be number one.

Conclusion
To sum up, you can learn a lot from your analytics, so in the future, you can improve and create pins that will help you increase your statistics. When I look at stats in the month of July I am very happy. I never imaged that in that short amount of time I can generate these big numbers. Comparing it with June, the change was enormous. I learn a lot and now I know what to do to increase even more my statistics. I believe that the next month I will generate even more numbers than in July.
